MORE INFORMATION ON:

TRANSCRIPT AND/OR REPORT CARD

CCA is a non‑accredited private school. All grades are parent‑verified, which is standard practice for most homeschool programs. For more information on accreditation and why many homeschool programs operate without it, see this accreditation overview.

CCA provides a professional, traditional‑style transcript that uses a standard GPA calculation and is suitable for high school, college admissions, and record‑keeping.

Your student’s report card and transcript are printed on high‑quality specialty paper.

  • Report cards include administrator-signed promotional area. Parent completes all other sections.

  • Transcripts are professionally prepared by Administrator. They are signed, sealed, and use a standard national GPA scale.

You remain in charge of confirming grades, keeping your records, and sending accurate final grades when a transcript is needed.

K–12 Report Transcript - $90 per student, per

                each GPA calculation

Example: If you ordered a transcript per semester for one school year, payment would provide 2 calculations for a total of 180.00 per year. This is not necessary. The most you need is once a year, calculated/printed at the end of the school year. There are even less expensive ways to purchase a transcript by waiting until the end of the transcript grouping. (see below)

NOTE:

Parents are welcome to use the K–6th report card options throughout elementary school, but this choice is entirely up to each family. Some parents prefer to begin using an official‑looking, calculated transcript as early as Kindergarten, while others wait until later.

In the administrator’s opinion, 4th grade is a comfortable and appropriate time to begin using more formal documentation, but again, this is completely the parent’s decision.

At the end of each school year or age-group grouping (see explanation below), parents will submit two semesters of grades, and the administrator will print and calculate the GPA for grades earned during the enrollment period at CCA. (This may also be requested early if the student withdraws at any point during the school year.)

Unlike report cards, transcripts are prepared by the administrator. Cost: $90.00 per student, per each GPA calculation. Parents can save money by choosing a grade-grouping transcript instead of purchasing transcripts each year.

A Printed & GPA‑Calculated Transcript Includes

  • Four printed copies on official transcript paper that include:

    • One cumulative‑folder copy for the student’s permanent record

    • Two sealed copies in a school envelope, suitable for mailing to universities, colleges, a public service position such as police or fire department, or the U.S. Military

    • One parent copy to keep at home for personal records

ONE GPA CALCULATION PER YEAR

CCA completes one GPA calculation per student, per year, and transcripts are typically prepared at the end of the school year. Each transcript includes all grades for every year the student has been enrolled with CCA and is issued in one of four grade groupings:

  • K–3

  • 4–6

  • 7–8

  • 9–12*

To reduce costs, many parents choose to request transcripts only at the end of each grouping—3rd, 6th, 8th, and 12th grades. The administrator can calculate multiple years at once, which significantly lowers transcript fees.

*Note about high school transcript: some universities require an 11th grade transcript so parent would be wise to do their own research based upon what the student's college will require when applying for admission.
